Jumma Xipaia and President Van der Beller
 

On April 20, 2022, Juma Xipaia and President Alexander Van der Bellen met at the presidential palace.
 

Juma Xipaia is an indigenous activist leader from the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. Her visit to Vienna is to raise awareness and get help for the indigenous peoples of the Amazon who are being attacked by the president of Brazil and the multinational companies who want their resources.
 

At the next day she gives a talk at the ERD-Talks 2022 in MQ – Museums Quartier in Vienna in company with the President Van Der Bellen and other activist.
